As the leader of the X-Men, Scott Summers, aka Cyclops, had his hands full with managing the team and keeping them safe from harm. But when the team was sent on a mission to the Sahara desert to stop the Sentinels from causing destruction, things took a turn for the worse. During the battle, Scott was injured and suffered a medical issue that caused him severe pain.
